Though E. Honda has generally been perceived as one of the weaker characters in Street Fighter 6, his basic game plan can prove difficult to deal with for casual fighting game players. In particular, E. Honda’s Sumo Smash, while fairly simple to deal with once you know how, has a tendency to really throw less experienced players for a loop.
SF4prime recently uploaded an interesting clip featuring a standoff between E. Honda and JP. It turns out that JP has an amusing way of dealing with E. Honda’s Sumo Smash technique.
In this scene, E. Honda attempts to advance forward with his Sumo Smash. Unfortunately for him, JP sees this coming and apparently has an evil plan in store for his opponent.
By snapping his fingers, JP generates two “Departures,” though not in the usual places. One of them is placed near the ground while the other one sits just above it.
Evidently, these two are connected to one another. Similar to the game “Portal,” these two Departures are connected to one another.
As a result, the sumo wrestler finds himself in an infinite loop. Needless to say, there are probably a few players out there that wish for this sort of thing on E. Honda players.
