HDG|Pochoclo23 and Tigers|CrossoverRD recently released tier lists for Street Fighter 6 Season 2. It seems that Jmcrofts and Kizzie Kay decided to collaborate to create their own tier list for Street Fighter 6, but one of a different sort.
Rather than ranking the cast based on their viability at high level events, they instead gauge how “hype” each character is from a spectator’s perspective. As such, all 23 combatants have been positioned into one of three different categories: most hype, hit or miss, and anti hype.
Fortunately for the sake of the game’s overall health, nearly half of the roster has been placed in the most hype tier category at the very top of the list. On a traditional tier list, these fighters typically range from being low tier to top tier.
Some of the low tiers that were considered to be hype by Kizzie Kay and Jmcrofts include Manon and Jamie. Meanwhile, even potential top tier combatants like M. Bison and Zangief are considered to be exciting to watch.
Characters that are said to be hit or miss here are Kimberly, Rashid, Akuma, Ken, as well as two others. Needless to say, how much hype these characters can generate will often vary.
However, it’s said that the least hype combatants in the game are JP, Dhalsim, Lily, Luke, Guile, and E. Honda. Generally speaking, most of these fighters have fairly basic game plans that make them easy to predict for seasoned spectators.
