QAD|Yagami is the Australian Reina user that won first place at Road to EVO 2024 – Tekken 8 ANZ Finals, which paved his way to compete at Evo 2024 this year. Additionally, he took 9th place at Evo Japan 2024 and 25th place at Evo 2024 earlier this year.
Earlier today, Yagami has released a tier list for Tekken 8. This comes shortly after the version 1.06.01 patch, which added Lidia Sobieska to the game. Of course, it should be noted that the version 1.05 patch applied massive changes to the game back in June.
According to Yagami, the best characters in the game right now are Dragunov, Feng, Alisa, Nina, King, and Yoshimitsu. They’ve all been positioned in the S tier group as a result.
Yagami’s character of choice, Reina, has been ranked in the A tier group, which is where the average characters have been positioned. She’s in there along with Kazuya, Bryan, Panda, Steve, and four others.
The newest character added to the game, Lidia Sobieska, sits in the A- tier group. Being that this is the second lowest tier group, this suggests that Lidia Sobieska probably won’t be taking the tournament scene by storm with this current version of the game.
Jack-8, Jun, and Devil Jin have been labeled as being the weakest overall characters in Tekken 8. As such, they all sit in the lowest tier group, B++ tier.
