Payroll Officer- Fixed Term Contract at Orica

What you will be doing

Executes payroll input and or management of external service providers
Administers offline payroll data and processes
Provides customer facing support and stakeholder management
Supports customers with analysis of legislation and provide correct and relevant advice
Support with internal and external audit and reporting requirements
Provides leave management advice and compliance
Manages Service Now queries related to payroll
Conducts payroll GL reconciliation and payment of invoices
Administers benefits related to Payroll where required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

What you will bring

Understanding of HR/Payroll Policies, procedures, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation relevant to applicable country or region
4-6 Years Experience in the Payroll discipline
Diploma in Payroll or Human Resources will be advantageous.
Appropriate fundamental Payroll knowledge with African countries.
Knowledge of computer software: SAP, Payspace or Payroll processing system.
Strong analytical skills.
High level communication/ interpersonal skills.
High level numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
