LifeBank is a platform that makes blood available when and where it is needed in Nigeria to save lives. We mobilize blood donations, take inventory of all blood available in the country, and deliver blood in the right condition to the point of need.Job Summary

The Facility officer oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of all building systems and supports the daily operations of the organization.
This role ensures a safe, functional, and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.

Reporting Structure:

This Job Title will report to the VP Operations through the Operations Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure that all facilities including storage facilities and office spaces are properly maintained and in good working condition
Oversee sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility
Manage utilities such as electricity, water to ensure uninterrupted supply and efficient usage
Coordinate maintenance and repairs for production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Implement security measures to protect company assets, employees and products.
Assist in space planning and allocation to optimize the use of facilities and accommodate growth or changes
Develop and manage budgets for facility-related expenses, such as maintenance, utilities and security
Oversee relationships with vendors and service providers such as maintenance vendors and security firms
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on facility-related matters.
Respond to requests and concerns related to facility operations.
Communicate maintenance schedules and disruptions to stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to facility staff, including training, supervision and performance management
Attend to other assigned task

Requirements

Minimum of HND degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in facility management or related field.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in use of microsoft
