Evo 2024 is now behind us. According to the registration leaderboard for the event, Street Fighter 6 had the most attention surrounding it as there were around 5,265 competing at that particular game.
By this point, we’ve already highlighted the Street Fighter 6 character usage stats for Evo 2024 based on the top performing 32, 96, and 256 players. It seems that TreeWiz (via ALT_SimpleTricks) recently created a list that highlights the highest placement for each character at Evo 2024.
As many of us already know, FLY|Punk ended up winning the entire event with Cammy as his primary character with Akuma as his secondary. If not for Punk, Cammy’s highest placement (as a main character) would’ve been 17th place.
Rashid ended up taking second place thanks to the efforts of NASR|BigBird. Assuming we exclude Akuma due to him being Punk’s backup character, this suggests that Rashid might be the strongest of the DLC fighters at the moment.
The latest character to join Street Fighter 6’s roster, M. Bison, ended up performing extremely well. Thanks to Saishunkan|Nemo, the dictator’s highest placement is at fifth place.
Within the top eight, Ed and Ken ended up seeing the most usage as Mouz|EndingWalker and Victrix|Momochi used Ed, while NASR|AngryBird and Rohto|Tokido played as Ken throughout the event.
Ryu and Dhalsim ended up being the worst performing characters at Evo 2024. Both combatants were only able to place at 97th at best.
