Manchester United are looking to strengthen their attack this summer, with the club scouting out top talent to join the ranks at Old Trafford.

The European Championships in Germany have provided an incredible stage for the best of Europe to show off their potential. Whilst Spain have already booked their ticket to the final with a 2-1 win over France, England will take on the Netherlands to try and edge closer to lifting the trophy.

However, through the group stages and early knockout rounds, so many stars have shone despite being eliminated from the competition.

One star to grab the attention of a lot of top clubs is Switzerland’s Dan Ndoye.

It’s previously been reported that United have contacted Ndoye’s club, Bologna, to enquire about the winger’s availability for a potential move.

United are already at an advantage with knowledge of Ndoye as the 23-year-old has a history with INEOS, making him a well known candidate for Sir Jim Ratcliffe, having come through OGC Nice and Lausanne-Sport who are also owned by the United co-owners.

Now, Ndoye’s agent has confirmed that United are still very much interested in signing the winger.

Speaking to Blick, Fahd Adamson said: “It is good that United are interested in Dan, it is somehow logical as well. United belong to INEOS, and Dan has already played for the other INEOS-owned clubs in Nice and Lausanne.”

He continued: “He received countless messages from English clubs after the quarter-final against England. Let’s see what emerges from them.

“We must discuss Dan’s future with him and his family. We need to weigh things up well, to prevent him making the wrong career move.”

It’s understood that United are happy to pay the full £21 million asking price for the 23-year-old, presumably making Bologna happy, so all that is left is negotiations with the man himself.
