Oh no… we’re starting to want to fix her again
We recently stumbled across an X account that’s entirely devoted to drawing just one of Street Fighter 6’s characters and does so in a way that perfectly captures the character’s personality as well as her beautiful visual appeal.
The character is the serpent-like A.K.I. and the artist goes by the name Ookoku. We’ve rounded up all of Ookoku’s illustrations thus far to share with you today, and would love your thoughts on them once you’ve had a chance to check out the gallery below.
The first non-legacy DLC character to join Street Fighter 6, A.K.I. ensnared attention from fans almost immediately as she brought a unique style to the game both in terms of her appearance and arsenal.
As we learned in her backstory, A.K.I. is a student of (and spiritual successor to) Street Fighter 5’s poison-wielding F.A.N.G, and approaches the fight armed with a similar damage over time ability.
She’s normally extremely composed and sinister, but sometimes expresses hints of mania as small cracks in her disciplined exterior allow emotion to rise to the surface. Ookoku’s art puts these various faces of A.K.I. on prominent display as we get to see her both when she’s serious as well as when she’s fawning over F.A.N.G (especially in the New Challengers Art Contest submission).
Whatever her mood, A.K.I. always has a certain sex appeal about her and Ookoku is careful to include this in virtually every image. Give the gallery below a look through and be sure to follow the artist on X as more godlike A.K.I. art is surely to come.
