Role Overview 

  • Regional Demand Requirements Planner, you will be responsible for optimising supply chain processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient product availability based on future demand. Job Requirements 

Requirements:  

Min 8 years’ experience in demand planning, inventory management, logistics and supply chain coordination. 

  •  Proficiency in SAP (LP1, PP1, APO) 
  •  Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
  •  Ability to align with any business and/or operational change.
  •  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  •  Excellent communication (written and spoken) and teamwork abilities.
  •  Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams. PowerBi

Operational Deliverables:
Demand Forecasting:

  •  Develop and implement demand forecasting models and techniques to predict future customer demand for products or services.
  •  Collaborate with commercial and product teams to gather relevant data and insights for accurate forecasts.

Inventory Management:

  •  Oversee and optimize inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory costs.
  •  Implement inventory control strategies and maintain accurate inventory records.

Supply Planning:

  •  Develop supply plans to ensure a smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain.
  •  Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to align supply with forecasted demand, considering lead times and capacity constraints.

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):

  •  Facilitate the S&OP process, bringing together cross-functional teams to review and align demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels.
  •  Help resolve potential conflicts and balance supply with demand.

Risk Management:

  •  Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain.
  •  Develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on the organization’s operations.
  •  Monitor external factors (market trends, economic changes, geopolitical events) affecting demand and supply.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  •   Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of demand and supply planning processes.
  •  Generate regular reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  •  Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments (commercial, procurement, production, logistics).
  •  Ensure all teams are aligned with the demand and supply planning strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  •     Liaise with the Distribution team to ensure timely deliveries.
  •     Update relevant parties about delays and challenges related to incoming materials.

   
Training Requirements 
Training:

  •  All yearly training requirements to be completed set out by the business objectives and goal sets in succuss factors.

Responsibility and authority:

  •  Importing from 30 sites for Finish Goods; Semi Finish Goods; Raw Materials 
  •  Ensure all active materials master data is updated per business requirements.
  •  Raise planning issues with production and global team and take corrective action.

General tasks

 

  •  Do auditing when requested (operational and safety audits).
  •  Participate in Gemba walk programme.
  •  Actively participate in Engagement action plans and events
  •  Assist operations team with Problem solving.

Food Safety responsibility:

  •  Ensure all FSSC and ISO systems requirement are met.
  •  Ensure all safety regulation are followed. 
  •  Adhere to all Food Safety requirements in terms of Personnel practices and Hygiene.

Operational safety requirements:

  •  Adhere to all safety instructions and signage.
  •  Show FELT leadership at all times.
  •  Conduct all operations in a safe manner as per operational procedures.
  •  Participate in all safety and emergency drills.
