Hilarious bug in Mortal Kombat 1 sees Homelander disappearing from view before the camera gets even worse from there...

Shortly after Homelander was released, NetherRealm Studios released a hotfix that fixed some issues while also nerfing Johnny Cage and Peacemaker. Unfortunately for Mortal Kombat fans, Mortal Kombat 1 ranked quite poorly on the final Evo 2024 leaderboard with only 645 players registered to compete at the big event this year.

Though it can be argued that the game gets more flak than it deserves, it’s undeniable that Mortal Kombat 1 does have its share of problems. Notably, DjOn6 highlighted a funny bug that happened during a streamer’s game. Needless to say, it would be problematic if this had actually happened at Evo 2024.

In the clip, the Baraka player was clearly on the offensive against the Homelander player. After getting opened up by Baraka’s overhead, Homelander opted to use a breaker to get free from the impending combo.

For some odd reason, this appeared to shift Homelander outside the view of the camera. As the two began to approach the right side of the screen, the camera began zooming out, which made it difficult to see the interactions.

Though us English speakers aren’t really able to understand what exactly is being said by the streamer, we do understand what the hysterical laughter is all about. Despite how he was reacting, the Baraka user was still able to close out the round.

Funnily enough, whenever Homelander was able to open the opponent up with a throw, the camera would zoom in, then quickly zoom back out to its incorrect position as the throw finished. The camera ended up zooming so far out that it was getting difficult to see the action due to foreground elements blocking the view.
