The local terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport 2 (MMA2) in Lagos, on Saturday, hosted Nigeria’s first-ever airport wedding.

The event, which was well-attended, took place at the MMA2 terminal’s ticketing hall.

Leadership reports that the couple, Alli Olamide Miracle and Agboola Abiodun Qudus, exchanged vows amidst the backdrop of departing and arriving flights, surrounded by their families, friends, and well-wishers.

Tagged ‘My Airport Wedding,’ the initiative was aimed at celebrating love and showcasing MMA2 as more than just a terminal for flight operations.

“We are thrilled to pioneer this unique event at MMA2,” Yinka-Olawuyi remarked. “It’s a testament to our commitment to innovation and creating memorable experiences for our passengers and terminal users,” Head of Corporate Communications at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, was quoted as saying.

“With our slogan ‘More than a terminal’, Bi-Courtney continues to redefine airport experiences,” Yinka-Olawuyi added. “This event underscores our dedication to offering more than just travel convenience.”
