Cal Fire police arrested a man on suspicion of arson related to two roadside vegetation fires that occurred Sunday in an area northeast of Stirling City.
According to a press release from Cal Fire-Butte County, local residents identified Brock Herritt, 48, as a potential suspect.
The release stated that on Monday, Cal Fire law enforcement and Butte County Sheriff’s Office deputies found Herritt at the scene of the fire, apprehended and arrested him.
