Subway Rider BUMPED onto the Train Tracks by Another Passenger on Accident, Dragged by the train and Survives – NYC

June 20, 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – Subway rider hit by train after another rider accidentally bumps him onto the train tracks.

According to police radio transmissions, Train Patrol Lieutenant advised a person was allegedly “pushed by mistake” by another train customer and R Line train service going southbound was halted.

20-year-old Emmanuel Paul allegedly jumped over the stairs railing and bumped into the 34-year-old victim at the Jay Street-MetroTech Station Thursday morning around 11am. Victim fell onto the train tracks and got dragged by the R train as Emmanuel Paul attempted to help him. He miraculously survived.

The victim was transported to methodist hospital with serious injuries, while accidental pusher was taken into custody, according to police.
