Across the 326 wards spread over the twenty-one local government areas of Anambra State, party delegates conducted themselves in an orderly and civil manner, with the elections proceeding smoothly in the vast majority of locations.

“Observers noted the high turnout as a positive indicator of the party’s growing grassroots structure in a state traditionally regarded as a stronghold of the opposition.”

The Secretary of the Ward Congress Committee, Hon. Israel Michael Emeka, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the exercise across the state. Speaking after the conclusion of the congresses, he described the exercise as a commendable success, noting that the process was relatively peaceful throughout.

“The congresses in Anambra were, by and large, a success,” Hon. Emeka stated. “Beyond a few challenges on logistics, which are to be expected in an exercise of this magnitude, what we witnessed across the wards was a peaceful, orderly, and democratic process. I want to commend Ndi Anambra for their hospitality and maturity.

“They conducted themselves in a manner that reflects well on the party and on the good people of Anambra State.”

His remarks were widely received as a testament to the organisational capacity of the party in the state and the willingness of APC members to embrace internal democratic processes as a foundation for stronger electoral performances in the future.

The State Chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike, also spoke glowingly about the exercise, using the occasion to commend all stakeholders involved in making the ward congress a success.

Chief Ejidike specifically praised the Ward Congress Committee for its diligence and professionalism in superintending the exercise across the state.

“I want to commend the Ward Congress Committee for a job well done,” Chief Ejidike said. “They worked tirelessly to ensure that this exercise was conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner, and the results speak for themselves.

“The ward congress has demonstrated that the APC in Anambra State is a united, vibrant, and democratic party ready to take on any political challenge.”

The chairman also expressed gratitude to APC members and supporters across Anambra State for their patience and commitment throughout the process, describing their participation as a strong signal of the party’s determination to deepen its roots in every ward across the state.
