The former Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra South Senatorial District, Engr Azuka Okwusa, has commended Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma over his continue support to the grow and development of the party in Anambra State.
He described him as the pillar of Anambra APC.
Okwusa gave the commendation while speaking to journalists at a one-day APC Anambra State Stakeholders Interactive Meeting, held in Awka, on Tuesday, January 18, 2026.
He said the choice of Governor Hope Uzodimma to head the party’s campaign in Anambra 2021 governorship election was a clear testament of the governor’s political sagacity and leadership dexterity.

He said: “Uzodimma has continued to distinguish himself as an astute politician, who knows his onion as far as electoral processes are concerned and who has what it takes to achieve a desired success in any position he find himself.
According to the former Senatorial candidate, APC remains the most viable political party in the country that has genuine concern for the general well-being of Ndi-Anambra and the Igbo at large.
He advised the people of Anambra State to embrace, support and vote massively for all the APC candidates during the 2027 general elections for their general good.
Okwusa also used the event to appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to help encouraged the Anambra chapter of the party in all formed of existence to enable it function optimally.
