In a move to foster civic engagement and keep the public abreast of the “People First” agenda, the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Projects, Programs, Monitoring and Evaluation has announced twenty winners of the “Governor Otu Project Trivia” (New Year Edition).
The competition, which challenged young Cross Riverians and observers of Cross River State to document the transformative strides of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, since his assumption of office on May 29, 2023, saw hundreds of participants vying for the top prizes. Applicants were required to list specific projects, provide brief descriptions of their impact and ideally provide photographic evidence of the developments in some cases.
Following a rigorous three-way vetting phase by a three-man screening panel comprising Eugene Upah, Didi Etta, and Owai Obo, twenty participants were selected for their depth of understanding and accuracy. The winners consist of 18 indigenes and 2 non-indigenes, reflecting the inclusive nature of the administration.
