June 12, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A man was shot following a physical altercation involving several men in Midtown, cops said.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls for a person shot Tuesday evening, just before 8 p.m., near Greenly Square a short distance to Herald Square in Manhattan, NYC.
Upon arrival officers located a 33-year-old man with a gunshot to the left leg following a brawl that broke out in Midtown at W. 33rd St. & Broadway, police said.
The injured man was taken to Bellevue Hospital by first responders and last listed in stable condition.
According to officials, three men got into an argument before a shot rang out and at least one person involved in the fight was taken into police custody with charges pending.
Police are still looking for the alleged gunman who fled the scene southbound on Broadway on foot.
