Federal civil servants in Cross River strive for  professionalism, excellence

Federal civil servants in Cross River State have pledged to ensure that their presence in the state is marked by professionalism and excellence as they look forward to 2026.

Dr. Rita Akpan, the chairman Association of  Heads of Federal Establishments , AHFE Cross River State made the pledge during its end of year party.

Dr. Akpan said “As we stand at the threshold of a new year, I encourage us all to remain steadfast.

“Let us renew our commitment to service,  continue to drive improvements in our various establishments and ensure that the Federal presence in Cross River State remains a model of efficiency and professionalism”, she said.

Reflecting on the outgoing year, she said  civil servants in the state  strengthened their synergy, deepened cooperation across MDAs and also  improved communication channels.

She added that they responded to national directives with precision and upheld the values of the Federal Civil Service which is excellence, accountability, transparency, and integrity.

She also emphasized that  she is proud of the achievements  of her colleagues, the strides they have achieved together and also  humbled to lead such an exceptional body of professionals.

As part of the celebration the outgoing heads of the Nigeria Customs Service, National Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Nigeria Immigration Service in the state were honoured for their outstanding contributions to the association.
