Congress of Nigerian Gospel Ministers Incorporated has extolled the United States Government’s recent resolve to classify Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” over the alleged persecution of Christians, describing the move as timely, apt, unbiased and God inspired.

Addressing Professional Christian Clerics and members of the Congress in Abuja, on Sunday, the National President of the Congress, His Eminence, Most Rev’d Prof. P. O. Akam Commended the administration of the US President, Donald Trump for what he called “the only saving grace for the Christians and other law abiding citizens and residents”.

The Congress President who is also the Primate and Archbishop of Christ The Light Gospel Mission Int’l Incorporated stressed that Nigeria’s insecurity is propelled or driven by an unbridled quest for the annihilation of Christians and Christianity as well as other Religious Organizations and thus, guarantee the full Islamization and Fulanization of the country by these radical Islamic extremist “Jihaddists.”

“Statistically Speaking, it is clear, Incontrovertible, indubitable and unarguable that most of the communities invaded by these die hard Jihaddists and wiped out almost every resident were Christian dominated. It is also undisputable that most worship centres attacked and several worshippers murdered in cold blood were Christian Churches. There could be one or two mosques where moderate Muslims, particularly, non Fulani Muslims worshipped that were attacked.

“I therefore make bold to say without fear of contradiction that anyone who is opposed to America’s intervention with a view to preventing further genocide from being perpetrated against Christians and other law abiding citizens and residents of Nigeria is either a member of one of these extremist Jihaddists groups or a sponsor of their activities, it does not matter where such a person hails from”

“Perhaps, it is pertinent state that all groups unleashing these most horrendous crudites in the history of civility are Islamic fanatics.” The Pontiff urged Nigerians to reject what he described as a “ploy to discourage the government and people of the United States of America from Coming to help Nigeria at this critical moment.”

“We must not allow lies by self serving disgruntled elements to deceive us. Nigerians must be United in their resolve to welcome America in order to stop this unprecedented level of blood bath by groups that have no respect for the sanctity of the human life.”

“Our Position is not in doubt, we strongly commend and welcome the USA. The Federal Government is encouraged to co-operate, collaborate and synergize with the United States of America to fight to standstill, this octopus which, for a long time, has been jetting dangerously into our system.”

“Obviously, the Tinubu administration has tried a lot to stamp out all forms of terrorism in the country. However, his efforts have not yielded the desired result, hence the need for a team work against the activities of these callous, barbaric, gruesome, belligerent and wicked radical Islamic extremist Jihaddists,” he concluded.
