Candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), in the forthcoming November 8, 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma has promised to build teacher’s quarters across schools in the 179 communities that constitute the State, if elected as governor.
He disclosed this while speaking during a mid day interaction with the academics of the higher institutions in Anambra State, held at the ASUU Secretariat in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, on Tuesday.
He said the teachers quarters is part of his administration policy to reposition education sector in the state.

According to him, I am in the race, because Anambra broke, and if Anambra is not broken, Paul Chukwuma wouldn’t have contested this election.
“The interactive session with this academics communities is to informed them of my vision to rescue Anambra from bad governance, insecurity and injustice.
“I know if we get it right here in academy environment, we would definitely get it right in our various communities.
‘I am in this race to rescue Anambra State.
“Anambra has been inducted with so many problem and challenges.
“Everyday, as I speak to you in this ASUU hall, people have been kidnapped, robbed of their hard earned struggles and even killed on daily basis by yet unidentified persons in the state despite the N4 billion naira the current administration is getting as monthly allocation from the federal government.
“This problem persist because, the government of the day has refused to prioritize the welfare of it citizens.
Anambra today, received N4 billion as security vote, yet the issue of insecurity persist.
“Under my watch, we are going to set up security committee across the 179 communities in the state.
“The biggest problem is that the local government administration has been hijacked by the current Government of governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo led-Alll Progressive Grand Alliance APGA.
“Reverse will be the case if given the opportunity to governed, because, I will ensure that each street in Anambra State has a CCTV camera.
“I will deployed modern technology to combat the dreaded menace in the state.
“I will invest in community policing through reformation our vigilante security system.
My administration will also build teachers quarters across schools in the State.
“This state belong to all of us, we can not allowed it to be destroyed by few individuals.
“Under my watch as the governor, if elected, I will change the fortunes of teachers and build teachers quarters across the 179 communities that constitute Anambra State.
“I will priorities the welfare of the teachers for the sake of our young generation.
“My Government will ensure constant electricity for four years.
“My government will leverage more on public, private partnership.
“My government will provide a clement environment for investors to thrive.
“My government will implement full autonomy for local government administration to enable the rural dwellers feel the positive side of the government.”
While also highlighted his major 3-point agendas, which include; Human capital development, Infrastructure and Security, the YPP candidate equally promised to partnered the federal government to build seaport in the state.
