The family of Iniubong Umoren, a graduate of Philosophy from the University of Uyo that was allegedly murdered by Uduak Frank Akpan, has refuted various stories online that they have compromised justice for their late daughter.
The family said all the online publications about their compromise aren’t true and that they have not received any dime to kill the case.
“We have not compromised justice for our late younger sister Iniubong Umoren, online publications are not true.
“We have not received a dime to kill the case, we are waiting for courts to reopen to present our evidence,” late Ini elder brother clarified on Friday.

Recall that Iniubong’s suspected killer, Akpan was paraded recently at the Akwa Ibom State Police Command. He confessed that “I use a stabiliser and a pressing iron to hit her and after I hit her, she started bleeding, thereafter, she died. I did it on self-defence”.
The Police have promised justice for late Umoren who was only looking for a job as a fresh graduate but was lured into an untimely death on April 29, 2021.
