Psychologist at Seqher Initiative

Seqher Initiative was founded by four (4) activists who share a passion for humanitarian work and love for the community.Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual and group counselling sessions for key population members.
Develop and implement psychosocial support programs tailored to the unique needs of key populations.
Collaborate with other stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community leaders, to promote mental health awareness and access to services.
Provide training and capacity-building sessions on mental health topics within the organization and the community.
Conduct research and evaluations to assess the impact of psychosocial interventions on key population members’ well-being.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
Proven experience in providing psychosocial support and counselling to diverse populations, preferably within an NGO or community-based setting.
Strong understanding of mental health issues facing key populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
