Anambra 2021: ADC pegs price of guber form at N12million

Ahead of the November 6th 2021 governorship in Anambra state, the African Democratic Congress, ADC has pegged its nomination form for N10 million while the expression of interest form is sold at N2 million, totalling N12 million per contestant.

The National Chairman of the party, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, who disclosed this in a media chat with Journalists in Awka on Tuesday, said, for now, eleven persons have so far indicated interest to govern the state under the platform.

Nwosu said that the party was strategically positioned to clinching victory on the poll.

He mentioned some of the governorship aspirants vying for the party ticket to include; Mr Afamefune Ezenwafor, Chief Godson Okoye, Dr Ejike Onuogu and Rev. Surface Ifeanaejere, among others.

According to him, the price of each ADC gubernatorial form is different from other parties.

Up to N22.5 million is being pegged for the same form by the All Progressive Congress APC, N26 million for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and N22 million for All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

Nwosu, who assured that the party’s primary would be transparent, credible, free and fair, stated that ADC has zero-tolerance for any kind of inducement to delegates, adding that any aspirant or moneybag caught in the act during the party’s primary would be prosecuted, even as the aspirant being supported would be automatically disqualified.

He appeals to Ndi-Anambra to support ADC on the poll as they were positioned to produce a governor most qualified to reposition all facets of the state

THE PARADISE NEWS gathered that at the end, the party is expected to generate about N132 million.
