The yet-to-be identified driver of the Department of Public Transportation, DOPT Cross River State who suspectedly over-ran Mr Michael the late trader is said to have absconded according to the Cross River Command of the Nigerian Police NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed. However, two officers of the DOPT are presently in police custody.
This development was confirmed from the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO in the state Ms Irene Ugbo who assured that the police command will apprehend the absconding suspected killer DOPT officer.
According to DSP Ugbo 'I have just confirmed from the DPO that the two DOPT officers are in our custody. But the main person that used his vehicle to jam him has ran away… We will get the other one.'
