Senator Godswill Akpabio has lost 8 LGs out of 10 local governments in his Eket Senatorial District, he is trailing his rival in the polls, former deputy governor, Chris Ekpeyong of the PDP by over 53,000 votes reportedly.
6 of these LGAs are Obot Akara, Ini, Etim Ekpo, Ikono, Ikot Ekpene and Abak LGAs.
However, he comes from one of the 2 local governments outstanding which has about 90,000 registered voters.
Akpabio is understood to be scaring observers and media organisations away right now.
Results from Essien Udim and Ika LGAs aren’t out yet. The EO for Oruk anam LGA missing.
