Abi, Yakurr 1 get on the Ndoma-Egba train

The Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba Campaign train tracked its way into Ekureku Town, venue for the campaigns in Abi Local Government amidst a sea of colorful and enthusiastic supporters who thronged the venue from different parts of the ten council wards of the LGA on Thursday February 7, 2019.
The chiefs also drawn from across the LGA were emphatic in their endorsement of Senator Ndoma-Egba, Dr. Alex Egbona for House of Representatives and Hon. Iwara Inah for House of Assembly. They also prayed and blessed Senator Ndoma-Egba.
At St. Bernard’s Primary School, Ekureku where the rally held, different speakers including Hon. Chuks Agube (a former chairman of Abi Local Government Council), Hon. Bassey Irem and Hon. Sylvester Eborty (both former Vice Chairmen of Abi Council) restated the shift in the political balance in Abi Local Government Area in favour of the APC and pledged to confirm this by the results that will be recorded on February 16, 2019.
The campaign train then moved on to Ugep to pay homage to the Obol Lopon of Ugep and his traditional council where the Senator received their blessings. Thereafter Senator Ndoma-Egba addressed the large crowd at the Umor Otutu Palace Junction, in the company of Prof. John Ofem, a prominent son of Ugep and the Pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. 
The Senator revealed that Prof. Ofem was his teacher in the early stages of his academic pursuits. On his part, Prof. Ofem was emphatic in his endorsement of Senator Ndoma-Egba, whom he described as a great person, ably qualified to play a major positive role in the governance of Nigeria and urged Ugep people to support him with  their votes for the betterment of Ugep, Cross River State and Nigeria as a whole.
At Ekori town, the Obol Lopon of Ekori and his Council thanked Senator Ndoma-Egba for being such a good friend of Ekori nation by the ready support he offers whenever called upon. He requested that the Senator should assist in completing the palace which Senator Ndoma-Egba promptly agreed to do. The Ekori Traditional Council then gave its royal blessings to the Senator.
At the Ernest Kizito Attah Square where the crowd was gathered and waiting, there was a declaration by the women, youths and elders that Ekori has become an APC stronghold and the three wards of Ekori will pour in their votes for the party and its candidates from President Buhari to Senator Owan Enoh, Senator Ndoma-Egba and Dr. Alex Egbona to Charles Ekpe Eni, the House of Assembly candidate.
