Super is known to be one of the biggest Mortal Kombat content creators on YouTube. Though he’s not a professional competitor that competes at tournaments, he plays so much Mortal Kombat that he’s able to play at a high level.
He doesn’t normally create tier lists, but Super recently decided to create a post-patch tier list for Mortal Kombat 1 after October’s adjustments. All 23 characters in Mortal Kombat 1 have been arranged into the S, A, B, C, D, and F tier categories, though it should be noted that none of the fighters were positioned in F tier of Super’s list.
The strongest characters in the game according to Super are Johnny Cage, Kenshi, and Rain. These three combatants reside in the S tier group that sits about the eight fighters in A tier.
Baraka has joined Reptile and Shang Tsung in the C tier category. As Super has pointed out, Baraka has had a significant fall from grace due to the nerfs of the most recent update.
However, Nitara and Sub-Zero are said to be the weakest overall characters in Mortal Kombat 1. Sub-Zero was already in a pretty bad spot before, but the October patch ended up breaking his Enhanced Ice Klone special so that it doesn’t even have a basic function anymore.
