NGP National Chairman urges youths to shun election violence, malpractice

Dr Asu Yakubu Shendam (Jagaban of Boki) National Chairman and Leader of the New Generation Party, has urged youths in Nigeria to be cautious, vigilant and to shun all forms of election violence and malpractices in the 2019 general elections.
Shendam gave the warning when he received comrade Julius Kijou, the Chairman of Cross River Youth in Politics in his office in Abuja.
Shendam who is believed to be warming up to slot it again and take over the Ikom/Boki federal constituency in 2019, is a Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade.
The Boki-born Youth Leader is the immediate past National Youth President of Nigeria, and has once served as a Senior Special Assistant to Abia, Plateau and Taraba state Governors on Youth and Students Affairs.
It will be recalled that in 2014, Shendam was nominated by then President Goodluck Jonathan to serve as
the Youth delegate to the National Conference where he presented a paper on the rights of the Nigerian youths. 
Born in August 6th 1980, to the family of His Royal Highness Chief Asu Osang Marculey, Natural Ruler of Njua/Kaku Ancient kingdom in Boki LGA CRS, Shendam believes that if given the opportunity to be voted into the green chambers, he will offer effective representation to his constituents by attracting developmental projects, youths empowerment, renovation of schools, affordable healthcare, educational support for students amongst others. 
He called on all political stakeholders' in Boki and Ikom to give him the necessary support with a view to serve them at the federal level.
