The Spanish international has been out of sort for the Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who sees him as been slow and not defensive. He has managed to start only one Premier League, against Arsenal where he was later substituted as his impact wasn't felt at all on a day Chelsea was outplayed losing 3-0 to the Gunnners.
It has lead to reports suggesting Chelsea are willing to let him go, as AC Milan are reportedly interested in his services seeing him as an ideal replacement for Andre Pirlo.
The exit of Fabregas to AC Milan intensified after two directors were at Stamford Bridge on Saturday for victory over Leicester City.
