Ifere's allegation of Ayade's N5 billion bribe of Mrs Odili leaves me perplexed, Gov's aide exclaims

About two days ago or there about, Yakurr-born, Cross River leading whistle blower, Mr Ifere Paul informed that in respect of the ongoing Joe Agi SAN Vs PDP with Governor Ben Ayade as third respondent suit, the governor of Cross River State had given the whooping sum of five billion Naira to one Mrs Odili to influence the judgment in his favour against Agi. What follows is an exact rendering of Paul's indicting statements: 'DSS, please be informed that Governor Ben Ayade paid 5 billion Naira belonging to Cross River State to one Mrs Mary Odili of the Supreme Court'.

'The governor is bragging that he got THE money from his foreign friends. No walaha. We shall see how the money was transferred. It is not over yet.

'Now that the DSS is investigating judges, I assure you, Mrs Odili's house will be ransacked soon'.

I reaction to this damning allegation by Ifere Paul, Gov Ayade yesterday replied that Paul was making a false allegation against him.

'I know that Paul Ifere has in recent times elevate falsehood to an act.
However his recent post over bribery of Mrs. Odili to the tune of N5 billion left me perplexed'.

Ayade's contention is that Cross River monthly allocation from the federal government is grossly less than N5 billion, how could he raise such an amount.

'For a state whose monthly allocation is often less than what the state needs to pay monthly wages to its workers, one wonders how the alleged N5 billion was raised to bribe anybody.

Ayade aired his mind through one of his aides who the present author can't place a finger on at the moment (This information was published by one Liberate Cross River, a social media campaign against corruption in Cross River State).

'Secondly, if the Ayade that l know had N5 billion he would have used such a humongous sum to embark on a project that will enhance the lot of his people.
Thirdly, it portrays Ifere as a poor student of events in the country'.

'Everybody knows the high wire politics that led to the disgraceful conduct of the PDP lawyer at the Supreme Court. The involvement of highly placed persons in Rivers state in the plot against Ayade is well known', the publication continued.

'The said highly placed persons are also persons with whom Mrs. Odili has strong personal and political affinities with. So, it beggars belief that it is to Mrs. Odili, Ayade would turn to.

'If anything, River state in probably the last Ayade will go to for help. Ifere Paul should please come up with a better lie, as he descends to an all time low all in his bid to do his corrupt masters bidding. Cross Riverians are wiser and know better'.

This 9th December 2016 Supreme Court judgement is really sending cold fever down the spines of parties involved in the suit.
