“If Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry can post pictures of themselves on their private islands and we are 'oohing 'and 'ahhing', why not me?” Linda is not far from it making this assertion. The problem is that Africans believe when a lady rises to fame through smart (smart in the sense of wisdom not being manipulative) work not necessarily 'hard'work, she is tagged one who sleeps with men to get money. In this case, Linda has over time used her pen (which is mightier than the sword) smartly to carve a niche for herself and has gotten all she needs for her comforts as a social entrepreneur. She deserves it as she worked for it. Let her enjoy it and ignore what people are saying! They will always have something to say; this is Nigeria. It will not reduce the numbers of hours you have in a day to keep up the work
