In the wee hours of Friday 9 September it rained heavily in Calabar, Cross River State capital. At the University of Calabar especially at the New Library section of the campus there was serious flood that impeded normal tragic and commuters activities. What we have here are pictures.
I am calling on the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Professor Zana I. Akpagu to immediately address the poor drainage at the Library section of the campus. In the near distant future we may not be surprised to record loss of lives in this drainage system. It's life threatening already!
