Information reaching Negroidhaven.org (Negroid Haven) has it that President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday 20 July forwarded the name of Victor Ndoma-Egba SAN, to the Senate as Chairman-nominee of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Ndoma-Egba has been in the NASS where he served meritoriously and rose to become Leader of the Senate. With this appointment, President Buhari has further increased the number of executive appointees from the state at the federal level. The occupant of the offices of Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-ita; Special Adviser to the President on Prosecution, Chief Okoi Obono-obla; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Abbas Ette; Member NNPC Board, Chief John; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pst Usani Uguru Usani; two carrier Ambassadors, etc are from Cross River State.
Meanwhile, Cross River leading public affairs analyst, Barr Joseph Odok, has on the wake of Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba SAN, revealed why he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), then ruling party. According to Barr Odok, he decided to cross carpet when Ndoma-Egba was rigged out the Senate primaries election of 2015. In his words, 'I began opposition politics after he was rigged out of power in the worst political abortion ever witnessed in Cross River State'
