Yesterday, 'Chief-Spokesman Agogo' called on all political appointees of governor Ben Ayade to join to discountenance attacks on Ben Ayade. He opined that any political appointee not joining in the defence of the governor and his policies is a conspirator with critics of Ayade to run down the government of Ayade.
Obviously Ayade is loosing out in the face of his critics. A few critics have cracked down the Ayade's media team hence the call on all political appointees to join in clamping down on existing critics. But why the call for clamping down on critics? Why the desperation? Why are people believing critics rather than the governor despite his constant reward of his media person with appointment? Why are those with no appointment nor money to fund their project gaining more prominence in cyber space than a sitting governor with all government paraphernalia?
It is a known fact that Ayade spends a great chuck of state funds to mobilise his media team. Disappointedly Ayade's media team ends up attack dogs. No group write more frequently than the Ayade's media team yet no one seems to belief or comment on any of their threat. This frustration may have been the reason why all Ayade's media team have turned into attack dogs or media rats as fondly referred to by some critics.
The governor of Cross River State Ben Ayade is going really desperate. With lean state funds, the governor has appointed 700 political appointees as collaborators in his business of ravaging our common wealth. Obviously losing out of power, the governor is on the mission of buying loyalty with more appointees. Too sad indeed.
I advise the governor to let his work speak for him. Let employment letter for the unemployed youths after lifting the ban on employment speak for our governor. Let the work on garment factory speak for him. Let the 500 million Euros he promised to have gotten from a German consortium get working in visible projects rather than media hype. Let us see our debt truly bought of rather than further borrowing to the tune of more than 50 billion naira. Let salaries be paid to all CUDA and CRUTECH staff. The governor should be seen employing the 7.8 billion naira from federal government intervention funds, 50 billion bank loan, internally generated revenue, monies from federation account to clear debt owed our pensioners, past political office holders, and contractors. A media hype using payment of half salaries while looting the larger amount to family and private companies will always betray the intentions of the governor no matter how much he pays the media.
The increasing belief in the criticism by Chief Okoi Obono-obla, Ifere Paul, Venatius Ikem, Eau Undie, Joseph Odok, Obasesam Okoi, Peter Offem Ubi,
Ogar Emmanuel Oko, Ogon Bonaventure O., Kalita Joe Aruku, Eno Beké Ikwen etc tells lot. Thanks to Negroid Haven that has played objective in its balanced reportage. These men are the cracks that sends Ayade and His attack dogs to sleepless nights.
Security reports puts Ifere Paul and Joseph Odok at great security risk. Let the world know that PDPigs are after our lives for no offence than playing opposition politics and believing in the anti corruption principles of PMB
Even if Ayade's 700 political appointees turn into attack dogs, his deceit will continue to make enemies for his leadership style. Ayade must allow his work speak and stop seeking popularity in social media.
