The Cross River State House of Assembly has formally
commenced the Public hearing stage of the 2016 Budget by Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs) before the House Committee on Finance & Appropriation.
At unveiling Ceremony of the Budget yesterday, the House released the guidelines for the process. Each Ministry and Department is required to appear before the House Committee to justify the revenues
estimates and expenditure items proposed by the Governor.
The House will also commence the Budget Roadshow to Investors, Development Partners and
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in the state and beyond.
