| By Lizzy Adie, 2nd October 2015. Former Minister Of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison Madueke has been arrested by the National Crime Agency today in the UK.
She was arrested for bribery and money laundering offences which are currently being investigated by the UK National Crime Agency.
Some Nigerians were also arrested along side Diezani
The British commission in Nigeria through its Press and Public Affairs Officers, Joseph Abuku comfirmed the arrest of Some Nigerians by the UK Agency.
Five people from the ages of 21 to 60 were also arrested on suspicion of bribery and corruption offences. The crimes are being investigated by the National Crime Agency.
Nigerians have also expressed their excitement over the arrest of the Former Petroleum Minister.
