There is crisis at the Enugu State house of assembly.. Law makers and Government of the Enugu State induces plan to impeach speaker. The house is in Chief, dissention and uproar.. Out of the 20 members, 14 hold secret meeting to oust speaker from office. Other plans are cooked up to impeach Governor.
However, Governor dismisses plot to remove him from office.
Law makers have on the contrary accused the Governor of high handedness and enrichment
Mr Chukwudi Achife , the Governor’s spokesman says speaker Eugene Odoh has been impeached and a new speaker appointed.
The speaker himself has denied the information as misguided and unfounded premised upon the fact that it was a baseless argument which according to him is a product of the handiwork of the Enugu State Governor Sullivan Chime and His loyalists in the house of assembly.
