Jadon Sancho who was cast out of the Man United squad back in September has been having a career renaissance at Borussia Dortmund where he’s been on loan since January.
It has time and time again been reported that his relationship with the manager Erik ten Hag is beyond repair putting lots of doubt whether he will ever play for The Red Devils ever again.
His performances in the Black and Yellow have reminded the world what a content and happy Sancho can do and one can’t help wonder why we didn’t see any of that in a United shirt.
Speaking on TNTSport, Man United legend Rio Ferdinand expressed the same sentiments while noting down how he can get his career back on track in a red shirt.
“People behind the scenes, INEOS, will be asking why that isn’t happening in a United shirt. I think the only way he goes back is if Erik ten Hag isn’t there. I don’t think they can undermine the manager without an apology, I think the manager has to be gone for Sancho to go back to Manchester United, ” Rio commented.
By his sentiments, this puts both club and player in a bit of a conundrum.
On the part of INEOS, they definitely appreciate Sancho’s talent but bringing him back would mean undermining the manager’s authority as Sancho is still adamant on not apologizing to ten Hag.
It is just about every player’s dream to don the red of Manchester United and if Sancho want to ever do so again, at least under ten Hag, he has to apologize.
There may be some light at the end of Sancho’s tunnel as there is little probability Erik ten Hag will still be manager next season on account of the terrible results he has been posting.
