Legor mourns Nigeria's longest serving Monarch

Member representing, Bekwarra/ Obudu/ Obanliku Federal Constituency of Cross River State in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo has mourned the passing away of His Royal Majesty Uti (Dr.) Joseph Davies Agba OON, the Paramount Ruler of Obudu Local Government Area. 
This was contained in a statement signed by the lawmaker issued Sunday afternoon, after family members of the Monarch officially announced the passing away of their King and Paramount Ruler of Obudu Local Government Area. 
The lawmaker said Uti Joseph Davies Agba will be greatly missed by Cross Riverians and all those who have come in contact with him as he was full of fatherly love, wisdom and compassion.

He prayed God give his family and indeed the entire people of Obudu the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May his and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. 

HRM Uti J. D. Agba OON passed on after 64 years of sitting on the throne as the away of the Paramount Ruler of Obudu making him probably the longest serving Monarch in Africa.
