Don't Forget the Bakassi People, Group Begs Sen. Otu Ahead of May 29 Swearing-in Ceremony
As the May 29th Swearing-in ceremony draws closer, a community based group in Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State know as the Great Cabal Organization, has called on the Governor- elect, Sen Prince Bassey Otu to pay attention on the Bakassi people as it concerns their development. 
 congratulates the incoming governor Senator Prince Bassey Otu, on his election victory and swearing in ceremony. 
The statement, contained in a congratulatory letter signed by the Chairman and secretary of the group, Edet Bassey and Ette Effiom respectively, said the victory of the incoming Governor of Cross River State gives the Bakassi people renewed faith in the system. “It gives us renewed faith in the system to see that the right person won, we are over joy working with you for the past few months, which helped us understand and value your level of commitment” it reads in part
They further expressed belief that the Incoming Governor will continue to work for improved programs in Bakassi Local government area and Ikang in particular, while assuring of their full support.

“We trust that you will continue to work for improved in Bakassi Local government Area and Ikang in particular, please be responsive that you have our full support.” It concluded. 
Recall that come May 29th Sen. Prince Bassey Otu will  assume office as the fourth Governor or Cross River State since 1999 after defeating his closest rival, Sen. Sandy Onor of the people’s democratic party in the March 11th poll.
