CALABAR – The Governor Of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has approved the appointments of special advisers, press secretary and other aides to his deputy Hon Peter Odey.
Otu’s directive was disclosed in a statement signed by Emmanuel Ogbeche, Chief Press Secretary to the State Government.
Recall that on June 7th, the State House Of Assembly had approved the appointments of 40 aides who would serve as special advisers, personal aides and staff to the state Governor.
“His excellency, the governor of Cross River State, Sen (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu has approved the Appointment of the following persons into the deputy governor, Rt Hon Peter Odey.
1. Dr Chris Ojikpong – Head of personal staff, 2. Mr Modey Ugbuji – Head of protocol,
3. Barr Fred Abua – Press secretary,
4. Mr Agbeh Ekpong- Snr Special Assistant special duties,
5. Mr Patrick Nkang Ogon – Special Assistant logistics,
6. Mr Ubio Obu Obiong, a – Special Assistant ICT,
7. Ms Charity Ohotu Wilfred – Special Assistant New Media,
8. Mr Upor Idom Murphy – Personal Assistant.”
