We are working, we are not sleeping - Ukam appeal to youths
The commissioner for youth Development,  Hon. Barr Odum-Ijom Ukam has called on youths in Cross River State to be patient with the government as a lot has been set in motion for youth inclusion in governance as well as empower them for self-sustainable. 
Speaking, Friday in Calabar while addressing a cross-section of youths from the B4 support group who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, Ukam informed that an appointment into government is in the pipeline but noted that the appointment will not go around so other forms of compensation and empowerment of young people have been set in place.  
The Lawyer turned politician averred that his office is open to embracing all manner of young people and has designed programs to suit their needs. He informed that the Prince Otu led administration which is centred on the the ‘People’s First’ Mantra is geared towards equipping young people with skills that will place food on their tables. 
Early the leadership of the B4 Support group had appealed to the commissioner to carry young people along in governance in the implementation of government policies that will lead to youth development.
