C’River Commissioner for Youth establishes front desk for Entrepreneurial Development, Seeks Partnership with BOI and Others- Ekeng Inyang

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Cross River State establishes Youth Entrepreneurial hub in the State Ministry’s Secretariat and the Cross River State Job Center which spans across the entire eighteen LGAs in CRS.

The Commissioner who appointed Mr. Agbor, a career civil servant under Youth Development department to oversee the newly established, as an interface between the young people of Cross River State and capacity building organizations.

This he explained as the necessary modules needed to create enabling environment for young enterprising C’Riverians to thrive.

This was forged by a bound created by the Ministry and the Bank of Industry as he made the call to their office in Calabar.
A visit led by the Honourable Commissioner Comrade Asu Okang, in company of Mr Thomas Odama- PDP Chapter Chairman of Bekwarra and Mr. Agbor-newly appointed Desk officer of the Ministry’s Entrepreneurial Development Program- EDP.
The Honourable Commissioner lamented on the quota of young people who have reach to the information on the facilities made available by the Bank to develop their various marks.
“I know that the Bank of Industry in their capacity are doing a lot but the channel of information is not strong. How many young C’Riverians even know about these opportunities?”.

The Entrepreneurial desk is charged with liaison responsibilities between the teaming young C’Riverians and the available financiers while also discharging other responsibilities such as career guide and training with priority as number one information dissemination medium.

The Honourable Commissioner further called on young Crossriverians to make use of the available facilities provided by the Bank of Industry to develop their various dreams as they seek professional advice through the established Entrepreneurial desk.
