The National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party – PDP have raised a motion for the suspension of the Cross River State Chairman of the PDP, Mr Venatius Ikem and his entire State working committee for conniving with Governor Nyesom Wike to frustrate the Presidential Ambitions of HE Atiku Abubakar.
Our inside source at the National told our correspondent that the motion was raised at the meeting of the NWC in Abuja today, citing the State working committee’s activities as anti-party and capable of frustrating the Presidential ambition of Atiku.
Venatius Ikem who has been fully brief of the party’s position immediately drafted a fitness walk for Atiku Abubakar, scheduled for Saturday this weekend to dispel the argument that he and his officials weren’t working against the interest of the party.
