As an electrician at Yardoak project, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and machinery within the facility.
Your role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in the company.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and longevity.
Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and address electrical issues affecting production schedules.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the installation and setup of new electrical equipment and machinery as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in electrical maintenance to continuously improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
Proven experience working as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in the furniture industry.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
