Corporate Communications Manager at Mogtech Group

Mogtech Group of Companies Limited is a holding company with different member companies operating in different sectors of the Nigerian economy. Our services are provided through our member companies:Main Responsibilities

Develop effective corporate communication strategies
Manage the group’s media related communications (public relations, social media, newsletters, websites, events, presentations)
Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website and other social platforms such as LinkedIn
Organize initiatives and plan corporate events
Develop and manage the company’s CSR initiatives
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate communication efforts, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
Foster relationships with advocates and key persons
Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements or articles
Perform “damage control” in the event of cases of bad publicity
Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors
All other related functions that may be assigned to you by the COO and/or Managing Director of the Company.

Requirements & Skills

6 – 8 years proven experience in corporate communications and branding
B.Sc or equivalent in Marketing, Mass Communication or related disciplines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of graphics design is essential
Multi-tasking ability, with the ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to think strategically and develop creative communication strategies that align with business goals.
Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and media monitoring software.
Ability to work with teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and manage crisis situations.
Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in corporate communications.
