Jadon Sancho’s fallout with manager Erik ten Hag was as messy and public as it gets.
Following his reluctance to apologize to the manager, Sancho was exiled from the squad for 4 months before he was offloaded to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.
The relationship between the pair has been described as irreparable and there was little hope of him returning to Manchester.
With Jason Wilcox’s appointment as technical director, there may still be some hope for Sancho-granted Wilcox’s appointment goes through.
He and the highly-rated executive have a good relationship having worked together at Manchester City’s academy where Sancho started his footballing journey.
As i news reports, Sancho has not closed the door to returning to United next season especially with ten Hag’s future at the club looking increasingly uncertain.

Erik ten Hag potentially leaving and the looming appointment of Jason Wilcox certainly builds a strong case for Sancho being open to starting again at United.
Wilcox, who was the head of Man City’s academy did in fact give Sancho his youth team debut at 15. Sancho starred in said debut scoring twice in five minutes.
United are nearing the conclusion of talks with Southampton for Wilcox, who resigned from his role to force a move.
Despite Sancho’s willingness to come back snd start over, inews reports United’s priority remains selling Sancho.
