Good news for all those studying at the aforementioned colleges, as Benue State education has made it fit for students to return back to school despite long strike.
The College Of Education Academic Staff Union ( COEASU) of the College of Education Katsina-Ala, Benue State has suspended the strike action it embarked upon some time ago.
This was the decision reached in a congress meeting of the union held today today at the institution.
It is understood that workers under the auspices of the Academic Staff Unions Of Tertiary Institutions in Benue state (ASUTIBS) will resume work next week Monday in order to meet, harmonize their views and convey same to the state Governor.
In a related development, the union in College of Education, Oju are also expected to hold its own meeting on Monday to to take a decision on this matter.
The management of the various institutions affected will announce the resumption dates of their schools after ASUTIBS has finally approved the suspension of the strike action.
