Biafrans Announce New Social Network '#Nkoli', Dumps Facebook, Twitter

The agitation for Biafra Independence started to have a setback when social network platforms like facebook and twitter started to censor posts by pro-Biafra activists, even went ahead to block, suspend and delete their accounts. Pro-Biafra activists like Emeka Gift, Amaka Ekwu Marchie, Ibe Amarachi Gift, Chinasa Nwosu, Joveth Methuselah Uche, Ugwu Onyekachi, Blessing Heaven, Jungle Journalist and many more have had their account in one time or more either suspended, blocked, or deleted.

Just recently, the most dreaded militant group ever @NDAvengers announced their decision to quit all social network platforms owing to the fact that platforms like twitter without any justifications suspended their account and removed all their twits.

But Biafrans smiled again with the coming of #Nkoli an indigenous social platform, which it’s content name is home grown.

In a chat with Eastern Radio, the brain behind this social network Mazi Kingsley Ezeoma said that

“Nkoli came online 3 months ago. The name was derived from nkolika in the sense that conversation is very important… then I said “Bia ka anyi kolia na #Nkoli”, the idea was to mix Twitter-like feeds with a Facebook look and feel, and with some new features like profile customization, trending hashtags, how many people are online (Skype), who is checking you out e.t.c. There is also a pro-membership for those who are interested in promoting their personality, posts, brands, or business .”

According to Ezeoma, the idea was hashed July 2014 when he felt that Facebook was censoring and filtering lots of stuff.
