On Thursday 21st July, 2016 was tagged #CleanUpCalabarProject. The project which is meant for volunteers to show up to clean the city of Calabar, at Watt Market was filled with fun as many youths from different groups turned up to fulfil the dream.
Although, there was a little bit of rain, but that didn’t stop what was destined to be. For the project went smoothly without any difficulties as NYSC FRSC Club kept the traffic going while Hit FM 95.9 Calabar gave their usual entertainment. Although face mask and other materials where provided by the Cross River State Primary Health Development Agency.
Groups, societies, organisations, companies, present at the cleaning up were EIS Recyclers, HitFM Calabar, Greencode Nigeria, Red Cross Society, Edem ChildrenFoundation, Church of Later Day Saint, Calabar Reporters, among others.
